I've done it all - lost money making all the classic trading mistakes, or almost! When I started, I let my broker do my thinking and bought mutual funds based solely on his suggestions. Then I subscribed to loads of newsletters and used their recommendations. Actually, I started making money and felt really good, but didn't learn enough to protect me during the technology crash of the 90's or the 2000 depression. Next I decided to get serious and began reading, taking classes and started technical and fundamental analysis trying to digest all the subtleties of the MA, EMA, MACD, STOCH, OBH, VIX, RSI, Delta, T-Val, etc., using very expensive software to help me in my selections. But my portfolio profits were not growing. So, I went back to the drawing board trying to discover what was still missing. I read more books, took copious notes, took classes on options and bought more software programs. I tried covered calls because I was told they were so safe that you could trade them in your IRA account. But I lost money when the stock prices dropped too low because I didn't understand how to adjust the trade. I tried stop losses, but was unhappy with those choices too. My stop was either too high and knocked me out of a good stock that I should have held onto longer, or I placed it too low and didn't watch for signals that it was past time to move out of that trade.

So, I kept reading and searching for a better understanding of options because I heard remarks like you can profit in options whether the market goes up, down or sideways and finally saw an article that led me to Spread Trade Systems. When they explained their concept to me, I couldn't wait to get started because it's a complete system that teaches you how to place a spread trade along with step by step ways to adjust those trades to protect yourself. It emphasizes the importance of primary and secondary exit points teaching you to control your greed and your fear. It's such a practical system that you can continually make profits while limiting your risks. I have not found anything else that is as comprehensive and inclusive as Spread Trade Systems. Since I'm a senior citizen I have to be especially careful with my investments. STS is a complete system that teaches me in a simple, easy to understand manner how to trade options effectively by monitoring and adjusting to the trend changes.

No one can accurately predict which way a stock will move – which is why this system is so great. You make your best decision on a stock based on your technical and fundamental analysis and place your trade. I would like to personally express my thanks to everyone at STS for helping me find a way to accomplish something I have always wanted to do. I've taken other courses in options and by far, unquestionably, this surpasses all the others put together. The teaching of the courses is excellent; our ability to take and retake them is wonderful; the speed with which instructors return emails with answers to questions is so helpful, and while it is very difficult, the goal becomes doable with the way the courses are structured and the sincere interest STS shows in its students. The teachers are excellent, patient, and caring, and the feeling of success that comes with passing each new level is overwhelming and so affirming. Prior to discovering STS, I'd taken an options course several years ago. The materials were impressive and overwhelming, and I really was too chicken to truly get into it. I needed more support; that is, I needed someone to hold my hand and walk me across the street. When I found that you allowed students to take classes as often as wanted and needed and that you had such an amazing and dedicated support system, I got very excited. I had a hard time sleeping for a couple of nights!!
