- How long do your courses take to complete?
Most Students average time to complete the curriculum is six months. Students with some understanding of the stock market, and options fundamentals will be able to complete the program in less time with continued activity. There are several component help forums designed to enhance your ability to successfully matriculate the curriculum in a timely manner.
- What are the average returns graduate students are making?
The Student learns through the methodology to structure trades based on solid fundamental and technical analysis, with realistic potential for a consistent percent net gain. The choice of whether that equates to an average of 15%, 20%, or higher per trade will vary with the student's perspective to their individual level of comfort with risk tolerance. An interesting side discussion here includes how our trade adjustment concepts play a significant role in trade management and have a direct correlation to trade profitability.
- How often are the classes offered? Can I retake classes?
On demand classes are available all the time while live classes are offered on a rotating schedule with each class being taught at least once every two weeks. Take classes all you want, as many times as you want. Our goal is to have you really understand this, and even our best students find themselves repeating courses to fully understand a concept, or even going back months later for a review.
- How many students are currently involved in your community?
We currently have over 3000 active students.
- Why are you different from other companies?
We DO NOT use or sell proprietary software around which our trading evolves. This immediately differentiates us from 95% of the service offerings available to you. There are a handful of technical indicators that must be understood; outside these indicators, the law of diminishing returns is in play. Our most significant differenciator is our adjustment concepts methodology. We teach students how to repair trades, how to utilize options effectively to reduce and manage risk. Our time is better spent researching and applying trades that can be adjusted as our expectations may change.
- How long have you been in business?
Many of our coaches have been trading for over 8 years (through some rather tough times if you recall). Spread Trade Systems was founded in 2002. We launched our Marketing and Sales division in January, 2004.
- Why are you teaching this to others when you might be off making millions?
Our coaches and many of our staff ARE actively doing trades and investments. They haven't given up anything by joining our team and teaching others how to do the same. Each coach's reasons are their own, and as you meet them they will share with you their stories. The fact is we teach methods, not trades, so sharing our philosophies doesn't take away from what they might earn on their own trading accounts.
- Can I talk to one of your students?
Yes. Unlike many education companies, we don't have anything to hide, so we encourage you to ask our students what it's like to be in our program. To arrange this we ask that you work with an enrollment director to arrange joining one of our student chats where you can speak with them directly. Because we don't want to burden our students with too many phone calls from prospective students like yourself, expect us to make sure you're ready and qualify to join our program before setting up the conversation.
- Do you take steps to make sure I understand what you are teaching?
Anyone can take a series of classes or seminars. It doesn't mean that they understand it or can apply the knowledge. In most programs it is money that moves you to the head of the class. In order for us to guarantee that someone will be successful trading in this system (just as those who have gone before them) we need to make sure they understand what we've taught them. The gateway to the next level in our system is comprehension and application of the information contained in the current level. Should you not pass a test, results of that test will show which classes in that level should be given more attention.
- How do your on-line classes work?
You will find that many are recorded so you can attend them whenever you wish. However we do offer the majority of our classes in a live format as well. The RFF classes are held in a "virtual classroom" with the aid of a phone conference bridge for audio. This allows for the indispensable aspect of interaction without the aforementioned overhead and delays of seminar based education.
