Here is a breakdown of what each student will be going through per level:

LEVEL 1: Due Diligence

Objectives:

  • - Understand how to communicate and function within STS
  • - Identify long and short term trends for the overall market and individual stock

Courses:

  • 095: RFF - Orientation

    Introduction to the RFF Program. This class, taught by the Education Coordinator, introduces you to our training program which will include how to register for classes and how to access both the chat rooms and your ePublications.

  • 101: RFF - Stock Market Basics

    In this class, you will understand the difference between Spread Trading and Directional Trading. You will learn to use the Stock Market as an investment vehicle and to use specific trading instruments to create low risk and even no risk trades.

  • 110: RFF - Fundamental Analysis

    Understanding and applying key fundamental indicators, a key component to successful trading. This course will guide you through analyzing Intrinsic Value, Growth Trends, and Management Performance.

  • 120: RFF - Technical & Sentimental Analysis

    Learn to understand and apply technical analysis using trend lines, gaps, valid breaking points and indicators such as the RSI, MACD, OBV and Stochastics.

  • 130: RFF - Introduction to Economic Events

    In this class we will look at the different economic reports, what they mean, and how they relate to market movement. These reports which include GDP, Consumer Confidence, and employment numbers are used to tell us how the economy is doing. Reports include: ISM, CPI, Core CPI, PPI, Core PPI, Philadelphia Fed, NY Empire State, Durable Goods, Retail Sales, Etc.

LEVEL 2: Understanding Options

Objectives:

  • - Have a working knowledge of the Options Instruments

Courses:

  • 220: RFF - Defining Options

    Understanding Option terms and the rights and obligations associated with the different Options used. This class will define option terms key to successful Options trading. During the training sessions, we will use an Options Chain to help define these terms.

  • 230: RFF - Understanding Options

    A key component to successfully trading options is understanding what Long & Short mean and why one or the other would be applied. We will discuss Options Assignments - how and when they are assigned and when the highest probability of assignment exists. This is important to understanding how to apply the Options Instrument.

  • 240: RFF - The Options Instrument

    Understanding the rights and obligations associated with each Options Instrument is key to successfully trading Options. Understanding these tools is key to adjusting them. We will look at when to use them, how to structure the trade properly and also define exit points.

LEVEL 3: Basic Spread Trades

Objectives:

  • - Have a working understanding of Strategy Application
  • - Learn how to structure a trade
  • - Be able to set primary and secondary exit points

Courses:

  • 301: RFF - Basic Spread Trades

    This class is all about understanding and applying Basic Spread Trades. It includes a basic look at the Protective Put (Married Put), the Collar Trade, and the Straddle and Strangle. This class also includes developing and setting exit points.

  • 330: RFF - Applying The Protective Put

    Applying this trade based on an expected movement is key to its success. What trend does this trade optimize, why, and how is it applied correctly? Understanding the tools used and the trade objective is key to successful application. Before any trade is applied understanding the mechanics of exit strategies is a key component to successful trading. When and how to exit a trade because it's going in the right direction or it's going in the wrong direction. Most trades can be adjusted from a losing position to a winning position. Understanding the tools used and their applied objective helps us to understand how they can be adjusted.

  • 331: RFF - Applying the Covered Call

    Applying this trade based on an expected movement is key to its success. What trend does this trade optimize, why, and how is it applied correctly? Understanding the tools used and the trade objective is key to successful application.   • 341: RFF - Applying the Collar Trade

  • - Be able to set primary and secondary exit points

  • - Understand the "How", "When", and "What" of trade adjustments

LEVEL 7: Mastery

  • - To apply options outside defined applications

RFF Plus*

(*Plus membership required)

Objectives:

  • -Get one on one attention on making your first live trades (reviewing concepts and how-to's, but not recommending stocks or strategies) and receive on-going support by allowing remote (and one live) access to special 591 sessions where coaches discuss how they research their trades in current market conditions.
